The Hope House, Chennai is a project of Jeevaratchanai. Jeevaratchanai is a registered children's home under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015.

The Hope House started as a family home that provides holistic care including protection, shelter, education, and health to children who are in need of care and protection especially children without parents or children of single parents, children who have been through trauma or abuse.

Over time, we’ve been able to reunite many children with their families while still supporting them through healthcare, education, and help for single parents. But we still have a long way to go as many children are placed in childcare institutions throughout India.

We’re dedicated to promoting foster care & reintegration with families as alternative options as we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving home environment with families. Through our Tree of Support programs, we are covering basic needs, education, wrap-around services, foster care and more! We are working to make a real difference, giving every child hope and a chance for a better future.
