Mental health is the foundation of a fulfilling life—it shapes how we think, feel, and interact with the world. It influences our ability to learn, work, build meaningful relationships, and overcome life’s challenges. Yet, in India, mental health remains one of the most overlooked and underserved aspects of healthcare, burdened by stigma, lack of awareness, and limited access to quality services.

At Jeevaratchanai, we are dedicated to bridging this gap. We provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) to individuals across all walks of life—children, adolescents, women, single parents, and vulnerable families. We help them access mental health support & resources through our network of professionals, educate them through various programs and training and create awareness on the importance of mental health. Our mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to the care and support they need to thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially.

Mental Health Awareness & Advocacy - Breaking the Stigma

Mental health stigma remains one of the biggest barriers to seeking help in India. Misconceptions, discrimination, and societal shame often prevent individuals from accessing the care they need. At Jeevaratchanai, we are committed to challenging stereotypes, spreading awareness, and advocating for a more inclusive and supportive society.

Through community-led campaigns, social media initiatives and through mental health awareness programs, we aim to:

  • Educate communities about mental health and its importance
  • To break the myths and stigma surrounding mental health
  • Empower individuals to seek help without fear of judgment
  • Connect individuals to various mental health professionals
